Today a good friend of mine stopped by my house to help me get some things taken care of, and to draw alongside me for about half of this comic. It's great to do something with someone in the real world, especially when it's art related to boot.
I've also been chosen as a potential candidate for a contract Flash Animator job to do some cleanup work for FlowPlay with some of their animations. They'd like to find someone to clean up and port over a bunch of game animations for use with a new toolkit, and I took a 2 hour art test cleaning up one of their animations to show what I'm capable of accomplishing in Flash. I think it went really well even though I only cleaned up about 85-90% of the offered file. I'm looking forwards to hearing back from them soon and see what happens. Really excited and hopeful!
